WSPC 2019 Member Meeting

Highlights from WSPC’s 10th Annual Leadership and Membership Meeting

Recently, WSPC celebrated our 10th Annual Leadership and Membership meeting in Portland, OR. Representing a cooperative of independent pharmacies is fundamental in how WSPC shines to drive member value.

In response to the member survey, the WSPC leadership team gathered to share ideas and information and to plan for the future. We know community pharmacy has cycles of initiatives, patient care, and challenges that demand our constant attention. Our growth and success are demonstrated in the 2018 WSPC Patronage and Q4 Rebate Distributions.

Thank you to the members that took the opportunity to attend in person or join via phone to listen to the Annual Membership Meeting on February 22, 2019. We continue to grow in membership and strength through the cooperative efforts of your leadership team and the dedication and commitment of WSPC members.

Here are some highlights from our 2019 Leadership Meeting:

  • WSPC Leadership met with our partner AmerisourceBergen and gathered cooperative feedback as we look forward to the year.
  • ABC: State of the Union by Andy Porto, Sr. VP Field Sales Community and Specialty Pharmacy.
  • Good Neighbor Pharmacy: Jenni Zilka highlighted the change in Good Neighbor Pharmacy programs similar to the changing of season with the transition to digital marketing. (ABC to present more follow up information).
  • Elevate Provider Network update by Beth Lea and Peter Kounelis and the monumental savings in DIR Clawback through our membership in that network.
